Compadre High School Garden Party

Compadre High School Garden Party

This collaboration was made possible by: Whole Foods, Harvest for Humanity, ASU’s Polytechnic Campus Sustainability Coordinator Susan Norton, Ben MacNeille, and the 100 volunteers. The garden will serve as an outdoor classroom and will be utilized by the school’s garden club. Additionally, the garden will provide food for the school and community, including migrating Monarch butterflies. Ben MacNeille (ASU Graduate Student): "Today’s efforts facilitate the transfer of ownership to students, who are in turn poised to serve the community tomorrow."
